Brock Lesnar is unsure about his WWE future.
Lesnar opened night 2 of WrestleMania 39, defeating Omos with multiple German Suplexes and an F-5. The victory over The Nigerian Giant marks another Mania moment for the former WWE Champion, with other highlights including facing Roman Reigns with both world championships on the line and ending the undefeated streak of The Undertaker.
Brock Lesnar Explains Why He Originally Left WWE
It had previously been reported that the reason why Lesnar vs. Omos took place at WrestleMania was because Lesnar did want to work a match with Bray Wyatt. The Eater of Worlds looked instead to be paired with Bobby Lashley. However, due to Wyatt not being cleared to compete at WrestleMania, this left The All Mighty without a match on the biggest show of the year.
Since the WWE debut back in 2002, Lesnar has a long list of accomplishments, which include 2 Royal Rumble victories, a King of the Ring tournament victory and capturing the world championship 10 times. With little left to accomplish inside the ring, the future of Brock Lesnar remains uncertain.
Speaking with Daniel Cormier on ESPN, The Beast stated that he has considered retirement, but the buzz of being in the ring is what keeps brining him back:
“Every time that I think that I’m done, I’m looking to… then I get in a ring, I get to the building, and that’s the part of the business that I really love. I left the business early because I just didn’t like the travel. I’m just a simple man, and it was just too much for me at the then. But I don’t know. I don’t know how much more that I’m gonna… I don’t know how long I’m gonna be around. I don’t know that,”
While the only person who knows what the future holds for Brock Lesnar is the man himself, one of The Beast’s greatest rivals believes that Lesnar is ready to retire.
