WWE Crown Jewel is set to emanate from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on November 9th. The main event of the show will feature Tribal Chief Roman Reigns defending his Undisputed WWE Universal Championship against YouTube sensation Logan Paul, who signed a WWE contract this past June and defeated The Miz in singles action at SummerSlam.
Brock Lesnar had good fortune the last time WWE went to Saudi Arabia as part of their strategic partnership with the General Sports Authority. The ten-year deal sees WWE produce multiple shows in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia per year, and at the Elimination Chamber Premium Live Event in February, Brock Lesnar defeated Bobby Lashley, Seth Rollins, Austin Theory, and Matt Riddle inside the Elimination Chamber to capture the WWE Championship that was previously held by Lashley.
Brock Lesnar Will Face Bobby Lashley Once Again At WWE Crown Jewel While The OC Take On The Judgment Day
Now, as announced on WWE Raw, Brock Lesnar and Bobby Lashley are set to face off once again in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia at WWE Crown Jewel after Lesnar made a stunning return on last week’s season premiere.
Last week, Lesnar laid out Lashley with multiple F5’s before locking in a Kimura, doing a significant amount of damage to The Almighty’s arm. The injury was severe enough that Lashley was unable to apply the Hurt Lock during his United States Championship match with Seth Rollins, and after falling victim to multiple Stomps, Lashley lost his title as Rollins was crowned the new champion.
Meanwhile, Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson also made their return last week on Raw, reuniting with AJ Styles to even the odds in his fight against The Judgment Day. In recent weeks, Finn Balor has been asking Styles to join his group, and Styles has vehemently denied his advances.
As announced on Raw, The OC and AJ Styles will take on Damian Priest, Finn Balor, and Dominik Mysterio of The Judgment Day at Crown Jewel. After the announcement, Dominik Mysterio scored a shock upset over AJ Styles in singles action. Full results from the October 17th episode of Raw can be found here.
