According to The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE are producing a documentary on Davey Boy Smith, ‘The British Bulldog’.

During Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport 3 on October 11, a WWE representative was present to film Davey Boy Smith Jr. battling Josh Alexander as well as his workout routine in the gym to be included in the documentary.

While it is unknown whether the documentary will be broadcast on the WWE Network or produced via DVD and Blu-Ray as biography complete with discs full of his greatest matches, it is also reported by Dave Meltzer that the WWE Network is working on a story about the former WWF Intercontinental Champion.

Earlier this year, the company acquiesced to fan demand and announced that ‘The British Bulldog’ Davey Boy Smith would be inducted into the 2020 Class of the WWE Hall of Fame.

The ceremony, which was meant to occur on WrestleMania weekend but cancelled because of the COVID-19 pandemic, is said to have been moved to WrestleMania 37 which will occur on the weekend of March 28, 2021, should all go to plan.

Davey Boy Smith is a former WWF Tag Team Champion with both The Dynamite Kid and the late, great Owen Hart, former WWF Intercontinental Champion, European Champion and Hardcore Champion. He will forever be remembered as one of the greatest British wrestlers to ever lace up a pair of boots.
