As was previously hyped, WWE Hall of Famer Bret Hart accompanied FTR to the ring for their recent encounter at Big Time Wrestling!
Big Time Wrestling, an indie promotion based in Webster, Massachusetts, had the honour of hosting Bret ‘The Hitman’ Hart on Friday evening. Taking place at the Webster Town Hall, ‘The Excellence of Execution’ was the guest manager of FTR as they wrestled Brian Pillman Jr. and Brock Anderson, who were flanked by the latter’s father, Arn Anderson.
Numerous photos and videos have surfaced on social media since the event, showing a visibly emotional FTR celebrating alongside their idol. A video posted by Twitter user @JeffMM1031 showed Bret Hart performing his signature taunt alongside the ROH World Tag Team Champions:

Big Time Wrestling’s official Twitter account also tweeted out this photo of Bret Hart and Dax Harwood, celebrating with some tequila following the match. Numerous other photos from the event were retweeted by the promotion.
The moment was a long-time coming for Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler. Alongside AEW ally CM Punk, the former Revival have spoken openly about their love and admiration for the WWE Hall of Famer, with Punk and Harwood making each other jealous with personal text exchanges with Bret Hart. Dax detailed (h/t ESPN):
“I’ll send screenshots to Punk and he’ll be jealous. So him and Bret will talk about hockey and he’ll send me screenshots of him and Bret talking about hockey. And I get jealous and I’m like, ‘Aw sh*t, I need to learn more about hockey.’ It’s just a cool little friendship we have.”
FTR have previously teased bringing Bret Hart into All Elite Wrestling as their new manager, with speculation running wild once they fired Tully Blanchard from his managerial duties. Dax Harwood very simply tweeted after that show asking Bret Hart what he was up to.
Bret Hart has previously appeared for AEW, being tasked with unveiling the AEW World Championship during the inaugural Double or Nothing. He’s yet to return to the company, although Tony Khan has commented on the matter, stating “not right now”. The door is, however, open should Bret Hart wish to make a return.
