Will Ospreay is bound for AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door on 25th June to challenge Kenny Omega for the IWGP US Title.
The British star won through a number one contenders tournament to earn his shot at Omega, defeating Hiroshi Tanahashi in the semi-finals at NJPW Resurgence before seeing off Lance Archer in the final at NJPW Dominion.
The event is set to be held at Scotiabank Arena in downtown Toronto, Canada, and Ospreay wasted little time in launching a brutal verbal attack on the home country of the reigning Champion.

After securing his title match with Omega, Ospreay hammered all things Canadian, including Chris Jericho, Don Callis and WWE Hall Of Famer, Bret ‘Hitman’ Hart, stirring up increased interest in the already hotly anticipated encounter:
“I’m walking into AEW territory once again. Only this time, Kenny, in the Tokyo Dome, I can’t tell you enough, you embarrassed me. It was 80% you, 20% Ospreay, we all know it. I left covered in my own blood, a shell of a man. Now I have to get revenge. There is not a better place to do it than in your home territory.
I’ll say it now. I f*cking can’t stand Canada. I genuinely can’t. Where is this f*cking notion that all Canadians are nice? ‘Oh, sorry about that.
