John Cena’s final WWE match has been confirmed, along with more key stops on his Farewell Tour. The Cenation leader has a handful of WWE dates left, and officials have just made a few massive decisions on what the future holds. New details on Cena’s exit are being confirmed, along with rumor killers and interesting new directions.
Big Match John began his “Last Time Is Now” Farewell Tour in January with a goal of retiring from in-ring competition at the end of this year. WWE and Cena have delivered on several significant happenings, including a long-awaited heel turn, Cena’s fourth Elimination Chamber win, a WrestleMania 41 main event victory for the Undisputed WWE Championship, a SummerSlam main event title loss to Cody Rhodes, and others, including matches against CM Punk, Randy Orton, R-Truth, and Logan Paul, to name a few.
Cena was rumored to make his final WWE appearance in his hometown of Boston this December, but that will not be happening. Instead, the Hollywood heavyweight will work his final Beantown match on Monday, November 10, for a live RAW. The Boston Herald has confirmed that his last hometown stop will air live on Netflix from the TD Garden that night.
John Cena has one more stop in Massachusetts before the Boston return. His Farewell Tour will stop at RAW from the MassMutual Center in Springfield, MA, on September 15 for the Wrestlepalooza go-home episode.
WWE’s inaugural Wrestlepalooza PLE on Saturday, September 20, at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana, is expected to feature the final Cena vs. Brock Lesnar match. One week after the final Boston appearance, Cena is set to say goodbye to New York City with his final date at the Madison Square Garden.
Cena has been confirmed for RAW at The World’s Most Famous Arena on November 17. The New York Post adds that Cena will take his final MSG bow on RAW that night.
There’s no word yet on who John Cena will wrestle at RAW in Boston or NYC. Tickets for both shows go on sale via Ticketmaster at 10 am ET on Wednesday, September 10. However, Cena’s final WWE date was also revealed today.

John Cena has 8 WWE dates left as he prepares for tonight’s live post-Clash In Paris edition of SmackDown, his final stop in Chicago. After weeks of rumors and speculation, word now is that Cena will finish up with WWE at an upcoming SNME event.
The Last Real Champion worked his sixth career match at a WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event in late May, defeating R-Truth. A new report from WrestleVotes revealed that the 17-time World Champion is scheduled to wrestle his retirement match on December 13 at SNME XLII.
WWE’s 42nd SNME was recently confirmed for December 13, and it has now been revealed that the Capital One Arena in Washington, DC will host the live special. There’s no word yet on who Cena will wrestle that night, but he’s also expected for SNME XLI on November 1 at the Delta Center in Salt Lake City, Utah as part of a major new WWE deal.
