On August 24th 2023 Bray Wyatt tragically passed away aged just 36.
Triple H would break the news of Wyatt’s passing via social media tragically revealing that Wyatt (real name Windham Rotunda) had passed away earlier that day as confirmed by his father the legendary Mike Rotunda.
It has now been revealed by Sean Ross Sapp (with permission from Windham’s family) that Wyatt’s cause of death as a heart attack.
The tweet reveals that Wyatt had been recovering from an existing heart issue last year when he tested positive for COVID 19, a diagnosis that then exacerbated his existing medical condition.
Most devastatingly, the report would note that Windham has begun making lots of positive steps towards his recovery prior to today.
Sean Ross Sapp would report:
“I was given permission to reveal that earlier this year Windham Rotunda (Bray Wyatt) got COVID that exacerbated a heart issues.
There was a lot of positive progress towards a return and his recovery. Unfortunately today he suffered a heart attack and passed away.”
