Bray Wyatt’s Social Media Account Hacked

Bray Wyatt

Bray Wyatt’s Twitter account has been hacked, with a scammer posting numerous tweets using the former WWE Superstar’s profile.

On December 5th, the Twitter account of Windham Rotunda, formerly known as Bray Wyatt sent out a series of confusing tweets. The posts read as follows:

“Fireflys I was able to receive an extra PS5 from a sponsor and I wanted to sell it to one of you guys for retail price!” the scammer writes, posing as Bray. “I can ship anywhere in the USA ( DMS OPENED).”

The posts have since been deleted. The hack was later confirmed by Rotunda’s partner Joseann Offerman.

After months away from television, Bray Wyatt was released by WWE on July 31st. The former Universal Champion hadn’t been seen in WWE since the night after WrestleMania 37 where he promised a new start following his defeat by Randy Orton at the showpiece event.

At the time it was said that Wyatt’s departure was due to budget cuts, but in the months following his exit more details began to come to light. In November a new report suggested that Wyatt had become increasingly vocal about what he saw as bad creative, and as a result WWE Chairman Vince McMahon simply “didn’t like him.”

Wyatt’s match at WrestleMania 37 was his only bout since the death of his close friend Brodie Lee. Posting on Twitter, The Fiend’s long-time collaborator Jason Baker has revealed the incredible unseen tribute that the star made to his late-friend at the event.

Bray Wyatt was released by WWE on July 31st 2021, and despite being linked with promotions such as IMPACT Wrestling and AEW, he has yet to return to the squared circle. However, it has been confirmed that the star will be at WrestleCon in 2022.

It has also been reported that the former Universal Champion is heading to Hollywood with long-time collaborator Baker.
