Bray Wyatt took the next step on his journey back to his dark past on the latest episode of SmackDown by bringing back the Firefly Fun House to send a warning to LA Knight.
Wyatt and Knight are due to face off in the first-ever Pitch Black Match at the Royal Rumble on January 28th. On SmackDown, Knight cut a promo running down The Eater of Worlds before making quick work of a local wrestler, Ren Jones.
Following the bout, the familiar theme of the Firefly Fun House was heard in the arena to a big cheer and the camera went to Bray Wyatt fixing up his old haunt.
During the segment, the denizens of the Fun House woke up after months away and Ramblin’ Rabbit revealed that he was scared of the dark. Wyatt said that Rabbit was right to be scared of the dark and mocked LA Knight for having parents who decided to call him Los Angeles Knight.
They were then interrupted by Uncle Howdy, who seemed pleased about Wyatt’s personality change, repeating “I told you so” and adding “all you needed was a little push”.
Wyatt then dropped his jovial front and said it was Knight’s fault for opening the door, and now whatever comes through it is his problem.
Bray Wyatt’s sister welcomes the return of the Firefly Fun House
When Wyatt was crouching down to fix up the Fun House at the start of the segment, his trousers had gone a bit far down and his logo appeared on the screen to censor his exposed backside.
It was that image his sister, Mika Rotunda, jokingly chose to tweet out as she welcomed the children’s entertainer side of Wyatt back to SmackDown.
“Welcome back!”

While nobody is quite sure of what the Pitch Black match will entail, LA Knight has previously said he thinks it will be a Street Fight in the dark. Michael Cole backed this up on SmackDown, saying it will be anything goes and will only end by pinfall of submission.v
