Bray Wyatt Release Reportedly Prompts Job Security Fears For Several WWE Stars

Several WWE Superstars are reportedly concerned over their job security following the shocking release of Bray Wyatt.

Wyatt, otherwise known as The Fiend, was let go yesterday amid an outpouring of support from the likes of Mick Foley, Alexa Bliss and others.

Now, a report from Fightful has suggested that several stars had reached out to the news outlet to vent their frustrations at this latest high profile release.

The report states that talent were told that Wyatt’s release was due to budget cuts, however, few reportedly believe this to be the sole issue, given Wyatt’s position on the card and notable merchandise sales.

WWE’s explanation chimes with a separate report from Dave Meltzer or the Wrestling Observer, who also added that Wyatt had been scheduled to return to television in August.

Fightful’s report also claimed that several tenured stars no longer felt their jobs were safe, perhaps owing to the high profile nature or Wyatt’s release and that of Braun Strowman before him.
