Returning to WWE at Extreme Rules on October 8, Bray Wyatt has remained at the top of the sports entertainment product. Reports have stated that the two-time Universal Champion is perceived as the number one babyface on the Friday Night SmackDown roster, alongside being a top merchandise seller.
Until now, though, Wyatt has been in a rivalry with himself. His own demons, to be specific. Confronted by Uncle Howdy on several occasions, Bray Wyatt has been forced to address his past actions, being told by Howdy that there’s no hiding from him anymore.
As seen on the November 11 blue brand broadcast, it appears that Bray Wyatt is finally set for his first ‘proper’ feud since returning. This, it appears, will pit him against LA Knight. The pair got into a brief back-and-forth during the episode, stemming from the former Max Dupri’s fury at a Bray Wyatt graphic flashing up on a backstage monitor. The man himself soon appeared, introducing himself to an infuriated Knight:
“I know we haven’t met, my name is Bray. So now we can be friends, right? I think I understand you, I can see all that anger and rage brewing inside you. Me too, man! My whole life, people have been telling me that my rage was going to make a monster out of me.
For the longest time, I’ve been pretending that I’m not proud of the things that I do. I don’t know how true that is anymore [laughs]. I know what it takes to give respect, and I’m asking you: how far are you willing to go?”
LA Knight responded by mocking Bray Wyatt’s former Firefly Fun House, telling ‘The Eater of Worlds’ to go back to his “romper room” and play with his “puppets”. Wyatt subsequently downed Knight with a headbutt, his first form of physical interaction since his loss to Randy Orton on night two of WrestleMania 37.
Bray Wyatt Wants Two WWE Stars To Return
As was reported by WrestleVotes in a new interview with GiveMeSport’s Louis Dangoor, Bray Wyatt is keen to see Bo Dallas and Erick Rowan return to WWE. It’s believed that the sports entertainment giant has been accommodating as it pertains to Bray’s creative input, though it’s unclear if the pair of former WWE Tag Team Champions will indeed return.
Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque has brought back a number of cut WWE Superstars over the past few months. This continued as recently as the latest SmackDown, as Sarah Logan returned alongside The Viking Raiders. They laid out Legado Del Fantasma and Hit Row in an emphatic comeback segment.
