Bray Wyatt Drops Cryptic Wrestling Message

Bray Wyatt

Bray Wyatt has referenced several different wrestlers and promotions in a new cryptic message that leaves fans with more questions than answers as to his future.

After 12 years with WWE, Bray Wyatt was released from his contract on the 31st of July 2021. During his time there, the Eater of Worlds was an incredibly popular superstar whether as the patriarch of The Wyatt Family or under a mask as his demonic alter-ego, The Fiend. He also captured several titles, most notably the WWE Championship and, on two occasions, the Universal Championship. He had his final WWE match with Randy Orton at WrestleMania 37.

His release was met with speculation on what Bray Wyatt would do next, with most people thinking a move to All Elite Wrestling was on the cards. However, rather than jumping to the next major promotion once his 90-day non-compete clause was up, Wyatt has remained a free agent.

Now the man known simply as Windham has taken to social media to set the cat amongst the wrestling pigeons with a new enigmatic message:

“Wrestling is not a love story, it’s a Fairy Tale for masochists. A comedy for people who criticize punchlines. A fantasy most can’t understand, a spectacle no one can deny. Lines are blurred. Heroes are villains. Budgets are cut. Business is business.”

“But it can also be a land when Dead men walk. Where Honor makes you Elite. Where Demons run for office. And Rock bottom is a reason to rejoice. WOOOOO! It’s an escape. A reason to point the blame at anyone but yourself for 2-3 hours. An excuse to be a kid again, and nothing matters except the moment we are in. Wrestling is not a love story, it’s much more. It’s hope.”

“And in a world surrounded in hate, greed and violence, a world where closure may never come. We all know a place that has hot and cold hope on tap. For better or for worse.”
