Bray Wyatt finally made his in-ring return at WWE traditional Boxing Day live event at Madison Square Garden.
The bout against Jinder Mahal was the first time that the star had stepped into the ring since losing out to Randy Orton at WrestleMania 37 in April 2021. After wrestling on the December 26th, Wyatt also defeated Mahal on the 27th, 28th and 29th. However, it appears that he may have suffered an injury during this most recent outing.
Bray Wyatt Reveals Injury At WWE Live Event

Although Bray Wyatt has begun wrestling at live events, he is yet to wrestle on television since returning to WWE at Extreme Rules in October. But fans now know when and where they will be able to see his next big match.
On the December 30th episode of Friday Night SmackDown, Wyatt came to the ring to address his attack on a cameraman the previous week. Before the former World Champion could apologise he was interrupted by LA Knight, who challenged him to a match at the Royal Rumble. Wyatt accepted, commenting that it was time to show the world how cruel he can really be. It has since been confirmed that this will be the newly-advertised “Pitch Black Match.”
As tensions rose in the ring the pair were interrupted by Uncle Howdy. The mysterious figure slowly joined the two men, standing between them and then next to Wyatt. However, they abruptly turned and hit Wyatt with a Sister Abigail before leaving.
Interestingly, some fans online have questioned whether the attacker was really Uncle Howdy at all. Photos quickly emerged showing the figure wearing a mask and their facial hair was styled very differently to how Howdy had been presented previously. It could be the case that WWE have simply altered the character’s look slightly now they are getting physically involved in the ring, but others have claimed that the figure could be a different character altogether.
