After it emerged that Braun Strowman could be heading to IMPACT Wrestling, the man himself has taken to social media to add a little fuel to the fire.
Braun Strowman left WWE on June 2nd 2021 after a highly successful eight year run with the company. During that time, Strowman won the Universal Championship, the Intercontinental title and the Money In The Ladder Match as well as tasting tag team gold on more than one occasion.
Writing in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer noted that Strowman could be heading to IMPACT alongside Buddy Murphy. The former WWE Cruiserweight Champion was released by WWE on the same day as Strowman.
In the wake of the report, Strowman took to social media, dropping a little hint along the way.
“Remember in life if you’re gonna do something make sure you make a impact. Carve your name in stone!!!”

Elsewhere in the report it was also highlighted that IMPACT retain an interest in signing Bray Wyatt. The former World Champion was released by WWE on July 31st having not appeared on WWE television since the night after WrestleMania 37.
However, it appears that IMPACT face competition for ‘The Fiend’s’ signature, with reports saying that AEW is Wyatt’s most likely destination.
Since leaving WWE, Wyatt has hinted that his ‘Fiend’ persona may continue outside of the company. Posting on Twitter Wyatt wrote “You can’t kill it.” More recently, the star took to social media once again writing “Rock Stars come and go. Musicians play until they die. -Eddie Van Halen.”
Speaking on his podcast Grilling JR, AEW announcer Jim Ross recently talked up Wyatt, describing him as “very talented” adding that he “won’t have any trouble finding work.”
