Braun Strowman

Braun Strowman has made his return to WWE just in time for the Royal Rumble event. The ‘Monster Among Men’ made a surprise return at the end of SmackDown, clearing house and standing tall as the show went off the air.

Strowman’s last appearance before this in WWE was the night after the Survivor Series in 2020.As a member of Team Raw, he helped the red brand to a clean sweep of victories over SmackDown. The next night he would headbutt WWE official Adam Pearce and suffer a storyline suspension.

Reports suggested at the time, that Braun was suffering from a knee injury, and this stopped him from challenging for the WWE Championship at TLC.

The main event of Smackdown began as a one-on-one match between Daniel Bryan and AJ Styles.Cesaro was on commentary for the match and Sami Zayn continued his protests at ringside.Following interference, the match restarted as a 6-man tag match between Bryan, Shinsuke Nakamura, and Big E taking on Zayn, Cesaro, and Styles. The match again broke down, restarting as a 5-on-4 tag team match with Otis joining Bryan’s side and The Mix and John Morrison joining AJ’s.Sheamus would make his way to the ring to join the 4 men and win the match.

Following that, Braun Strowman made his way to the ring and started attacking anyone in front of him.Looking in tremendous physical shape, Strowman would give his running power slam to both Zayn and Cesaro.

Strowman looks set to take part in the men’s Royal Rumble match, he is currently the seventh favourite to win.
