Braun Strowman On His Goals For WWE Return

The Monster Among Men Braun Strowman has a couple of championships he would like to capture during his second WWE run.

With Braun Strowman now back in the mix in WWE, it’s only a matter of time before The Monster Among Men has his sights set on championship gold. Strowman is already a former Universal Champion, having won the title at WrestleMania 36 by defeating the legendary Goldberg.

Despite having a successful run on the main roster, he was let go by the company in June 2021. The former Universal Champion recently spoke about his heartbreaking departure, saying that it was “a really hard pill to swallow” and in many ways a “reality check.”

During his appearance on Corey Grave’s After The Bell podcast, Strowman discussed his goals for his second WWE run. He teased going after the United States and WWE Undisputed Universal Championship.

“Oh without a doubt, Bobby Lashley keep holding on to that US title tight because I’m coming for that one of these days and be Grand Slam Champion. So I’m gonna go ahead and say that. Like I said, I probably do that for a little appetizer and they go on and get ready for the main courses.”

“You know, Roman and I are gonna butt heads again one of these days. There’s never been a better dancing partner for me, there’s never been a better dancing partner for him. What we do is magic and that’s out there and beat the hell out of each other.”

Strowman has a history with both Bobby Lashley and Roman Reigns. During a Falls Count Anywhere match in 2019, The Monster Among Men drove the Almighty through the LED stage wall on Monday Night Raw. The two giants also clashed in a Last Man Standing match soon afterward.

As for Reigns, his rivalry with Strowman dates back to 2015, when the Monster debuted as the newest member of The Wyatt Family and attacked Reigns and Dean Ambrose. The two have since traded victories against one another and fought in multiple championship matches.
