Braun Strowman Once Pitched Teaming With His Dad Against Vince & Shane McMahon

Adam Scherr, formerly known as Braun Strowman, revealed that he once pitched to team with his dad to take on Vince and Shane McMahon!

While plenty of people got those hands during Strowman’s time in the WWE,

Scherr recently took to Instagram and posted a picture of his family to wish his father a happy birthday. The resemblance between the Monster Among Men and his dad is remarkable.

Happiest of bdays to the Crusher! Love you dad!!!

After receiving comments from both Hulk Hogan and The Undertaker also wishing his father a happy birthday, the former Braun Strowman shared his “mark out moment” on Twitter.

This is still surreal to me. Everyone loves the Crusher!!!! #MarkOutMoment

A fan replied to this tweet asking if the Monster Among Men would ever consider teaming up with the Crusher for a “once in a lifetime” match, Adam Scherr responded with the revelation that he once pitched an idea for him and his dad to team up and take on none other than Vince McMahon and his son Shane. However, Scherr was released from the company before the match could take place.

Pitched the idea of Shane and Vince vs my Dad and I. Then budget cuts lol

While the dream generational match never came to fruition, Braun Strowman found his fair share of success during his time with WWE, having reigns as both Intercontinental Champion and Universal Champion. His Universal Championship reign began when he replaced Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 36 and defeated Goldberg. He was eventually defeated by his former stablemate Bray Wyatt after 141 days at SummerSlam.

Strowman did end up going on to face Shane McMahon multiple times during the spring of 2021 with their feud culminating in a steel cage match on night one of WrestleMania 37. Strowman was able to pick up the victory in that bout.

Adam Scherr is currently dating former NXT Women’s Champion Raquel Gonzalez, and he recently shared a hilarious story on social media about his girlfriend’s reaction to the offer of a lap dance.
