Braun Strowman Confirms Injury Suffered During Last Monster Standing Match On WWE Raw

Braun Strowman has revealed that he did not escape the Last Monster Standing match on WWE Raw unscathed.

Following weeks of Strowman and Bronson Reed attempting to destroy each other, the two big men faced off in the main event of the September 30th episode of Raw. Following barricades being broken, steel steps thrown and the ring imploding, Strowman was able to emerge the victor thanks in part to an assist from a returning Seth Rollins, who delivered a stomp onto Reed on the steel steps to prevent him from beating the 10 count.

Although Strowman was the victor, it was reported shortly afterwards that the former Universal Champion had suffered a groin injury in the match. According to Strowman himself, this is unfortunately true.

Providing an update on Instagram, Strowman confirmed that he did tear his groin 2 minutes into the match:

After waiting a few days to see how this was gonna end up. This is where we’re at!! Tore my Groin 2 minutes into the Last Monster Standing Match last week on #Raw and pained my way through that son of a bitch. To yet again reminded the world I am The #MonsterOfAllMonsters

It is unknown how long Strowman will be out of action as a result of the injury.
