After tasting victory in his first match since leaving WWE, Adam Scherr, formerly known as Braun Strowman has called out Bray Wyatt.
At “Free The Narrative II: The Monster In Us All on October 1st, Strowman defeated EC3 in his first match since leaving WWE in June.
Speaking to Control Your Narrative, Strowman was asked about who he would like to face next. The former WWE Universal Champion said that there was only man who he wants to come and challenge him. His former leader in The Wyatt Family, Bray Wyatt.
“I don’t know if it’s really one person. I think it’s anyone, anyone that has something inside them that they need to get out. Anybody that needs to be set free. These things have always been good [stares at his hands] at setting things free… There’s only one man on this earth that I want to see knocking that door. He’s family, he showed me things in life that I never could have imagined seeing. He bestowed the gift upon me of being the godfather to his son. Windham, I’m waiting for you brother,”
Braun Strowman signed with WWE in 2013, briefly appearing in NXT before arriving on the main roster in August 2015. Appearing as Braun Strowman, the giant attacked Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose aligning with Bray Wyatt and The Wyatt Family.
The alliance continued up until the 2016 WWE Draft where Strowman was drafted to Raw with Wyatt and Erick Rowan heading to SmackDown.
In the years that followed, Strowman went on to win pretty much every major title WWE had to offer including the Universal Championship.
However, after failing to win the WWE Championship at WrestleMania Backlash in May, Strowman was released a month later.
Meanwhile after being away from WWE television since WrestleMania 37, Bray Wyatt was released on July 31st. Since their respective releases, both men have been linked with IMPACT Wrestling.
