Adam Scherr, formerly known as Braun Strowman, was involved in an accident on a road sharing a name with his former boss.
During his time in WWE as Braun Strowman, Adam Scherr became known for causing destruction to vehicles within various storylines, flipping them over with his massive strength.
However, the star took to social media on Thursday to share a photo of an accident that was all too real. Thankfully, everyone involved was able to walk away and is fine, and Scherr posted the message to implore everyone to count their blessings in life.
“Always count your blessings. Trucks and boats can be replaced. Everyone walked away from this ok. Thankful the lord was watching over us. #Blessed”

Though obviously a coincidence, it’s notable that the McMahon Road street sign in the background of his picture reveals that the accident took place on or near a street sharing the name of his former boss in WWE.
After competing successfully as a strongman, Scherr signed with the WWE in 2013 and made his main roster debut following SummerSlam in 2015. He held the Universal, Intercontinental, and Raw Tag Team Championships, and won the Money in the Bank, Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal, and Greatest Royal Rumble matches.
Since his departure from the WWE in June of 2021, the former Strowman has competed a handful of times on the independent scene. Along with fellow ex-WWE star EC3, he helped launch the promotion Control Your Narrative.
Scherr hasn’t competed since May, though he was due to wrestle ex-UFC star Alistair Overeem as part of the ill-fated Wrestling Entertainment Series’ inaugural card before this was postponed and later cancelled altogether.
