Brandi Rhodes Vows To Continue In-Ring Career

Brandi Rhodes has revealed that she plans to continue her in-ring wrestling career.

While Brandi Rhodes hasn’t competed in the ring since the January 31st edition of AEW Dark: Elevation that doesn’t mean that her in-ring ambitions are over.

On that occasion Rhodes defeated KiLynn King in her fourth televised match back following a lengthy break, during which she gave birth to her first child.

However, after leaving AEW in February, Rhodes in-ring future has seemed less than certain as she throws herself into numerous projects outside of the squared circle. Furthermore, while her husband Cody made a triumphant return to action with WWE at WrestleMania 38, she is yet to follow suit.

Despite this, speaking in a new interview with Muscle & Fitness Brandi Rhodes confirmed that she’s still training regularly and plans to step back inside the ropes.

“I’m still training all of the time,”

“People can connect the dots and make of that what they will. I will tell you; I wouldn’t be training and getting beat up (laughs) just for the hell of it, so obviously I do plan to continue my in-ring career. When and where? That is yet to be seen but I hope when it does happen, everybody is happy and proud.”

Cody Rhodes is expected to be out of action for a number of months after undergoing surgery to repair a serious pectoral injury. It was recently revealed that a WWE documentary team are chronicling his recovery.
