Brandi Rhodes has shared the first pictures of daughter Liberty Iris Runnels while wishing husband and AEW star Cody Rhodes a happy 36th birthday.
Brandi Rhodes announced her pregnancy on the December 16th, 2020 edition of AEW Dynamite. The happy couple were part of a pre-recorded segment in their home where they received a gift on their doorstep while putting up their Christmas tree.
Retrieving the present, Brandi and Cody sat down to unwrap it together to unveil a wooden decoration that unveiled the news to the world. The pair then proceeded to hang the item on their tree.
Cody Rhodes announced the news to the world of his daughter’s arrival on social media with a photo of mother, father, and baby all holding hands. Rhodes added the caption that revealed his daughter’s name:
“6lbs 12oz – Liberty Iris Runnels – Mother & Daughter are doing wonderful”
Now Brandi Rhodes has taken to social media with the first photo where the world can get a look at the great-granddaughter of a plumber, with the photos being an exclusive for People magazine.
As well as appearing in All Elite Wrestling and preparing for their new arrival, Cody and Brandi Rhodes have been filming a new reality series for TNT called ‘Rhodes To The Top.’ Each 30-minute episode will take fans behind the curtain of the Rhodes family as they welcome their baby daughter into the world, and continue to be one of the driving forces behind AEW.
The Rhodes’ are the latest wrestling couple to welcome a daughter to the world in recent months. Becky Lynch and Seth Rollins welcomed their own girl, who they named Roux in December 2020. More recently Jon Moxley and Renee Paquette announced the birth of their own daughter who Paquette had announced they were naming after her own grandmother, Nora. Matt Hardy and wife Reby are expecting their first daughter after already having three sons.
