Booker T wants to help make sure one rising NXT star will one day join him in earning a WWE Hall of Fame ring.
It’s no secret that the two-time Hall of Famer is a huge supporter of former NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez. Perez began her wresting career at Booker’s Reality of Wrestling school in Texas, and Booker T has compared Roxanne to fellow Hall of Famer Lita in the past when it comes to her star power.

Now, speaking on a recent episode of his Hall of Fame podcast, Booker T called himself a “proud dad” when it comes to Perez. He wants to do everything he can to make sure she’s a future WWE Hall of Famer.
“I’m like a proud dad to be honest because I’m still in her head, still in her ear at NXT every week. Every time she’s got a match, I’m watching, critiquing it, trying to see exactly what she’s doing well, what perhaps she needs to work on. I’m always trying to make sure I’m that third, fourth, fifth eye, you know what I mean, and try to make sure…

We don’t just call her The Prodigy to be throwing around another phase, another term or anything like that.
