WWE Hall of Famer Booker T has claimed that it’s too early to move Toxic Attraction away from NXT 2.0 and onto the main roster.
Since debuting Toxic Attraction have taken NXT 2.0 by storm, establishing themselves as the top faction on the show. Earlier this year the trio enjoyed a run with all the gold as Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne reigned as the NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions while Mandy Rose held, and continues to hold, the NXT Women’s Championship.
Mandy Rose returned to NXT in July of 2021 where she put the popular faction together. Throughout Toxic Attraction’s run thus far, Rose has managed to hold the NXT Women’s Championship for 295 days. Her reign began at Halloween Havoc in October of last year.
Although Toxic Attraction has been red hot on NXT 2.0, there has to come a time when they eventually move over to the main roster. WWE Hall of Famer Booker T expressed on The Hall of Fame with Booker T & Brad Gilmore podcast, why he believes Toxic Attraction is not ready to leave NXT just yet:
“If you take Toxic Attraction away, that’s a big hole you’re going to leave right there. I just don’t think you want to do that right now. I don’t think it’s the right time to take Toxic Attraction away from that brand right now, just because it would leave such a huge void, and a void I don’t think they can fill right now.”
“Mandy Rose has definitely found her niche. She definitely has found her footing as far as being able to go out there and do it like I think she’s been wanting to do it for quite some time. As far as bringing it to the main roster, do I think it would fit in? Perfectly. I think it would fit in perfectly.”
With Dolin and Jayne recently losing the NXT Women’s Tag Team Championship at NXT: The Great American Bash and Rose still on the run of a lifetime with the NXT Women’s Championship, it’s hard to tell when the group will make their way over to the main roster.
