WWE Hall of Famer Booker T has a lot of confidence in Theory dethroning the Undisputed Champion Roman Reigns.
Despite losing the United States Championship on the same night, Theory was able to climb the ladder at Money In The Bank and capture the briefcase. He now gets a shot at the Undisputed WWE Championship any time he wants within the following year. Although Theory has yet to confront the current Champion, Roman Reigns, there is one person who already believes he has a shot of taking his title.
On his Hall Of Fame show, Booker T spoke about Mr Money In The Bank’s chances of winning the Undisputed Championship and said that it’s a matter of him being booked correctly:
“It’s not losing, but it’s how you lose. He could beat Roman, he could beat anybody on the card if the situation is right. If a person is unconscious when I cash in, who loses? If you book it properly, Theory is not going to be one of the guys that [sic] got the briefcase and didn’t cash it in and win it. I don’t see that happening. This kid has got way too much upside for something like that to happen. That’s just me and what I would be thinking if I had Theory in this position.”
Roman Reigns hasn’t lost a one-on-one singles match in over two years. He’s set to defend his Undisputed Championship against the Beast Incarnate Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam later this month. Theory already said on RAW that he’s planning on cashing in at the show. Whether or not he can successfully do so remains to be seen.
