Booker T has boldly suggested that he would like to see The Brood reform to take on Judgment Day after Edge was kicked out of the new group.
Ahead of the June 6th episode of Monday Night Raw it was announced that Judgment Day would be getting a new member. The group consisting of Rhea Ripley, Edge and Damian Priest were coming off the back of a win over Liv Morgan, AJ Styles and Finn Balor at WWE Hell In A Cell the night before.
On Raw, Priest and Ripley discussed fulfilling their destiny, before Edge got on the microphone to reveal that the group was spreading. This surprisingly brought out Finn Balor who had been battling against the group in recent weeks.
However, fans didn’t have to wait long for the twist as Balor, Ripley and Priest attacked Edge to leave him laying.
Speaking on his Hall of Fame podcast, Booker T has said that after taking some time away from WWE he would like to see Edge reform The Brood to go against Judgment Day.
“You know what, you know what would even be better, if Edge did stay out for six months and then the Brood showed up, yeah with Christian, [and] get Gangrel,”
When it was put to the former World Champion that Christian Cage would need to be gotten out of his AEW contract, Booker joked that at present, that might not be too difficult.
“That [getting Christian out of his AEW contract] might not be too hard the way things are going [laughs].”
Despite initially appearing in a high-profile position with AEW, Christian Cage has since slid down the card, mainly appearing as a manager with Jurassic Express. The former IMPACT World Champion, and AEW Title challenger has only wrestled four times in 2022.
Meanwhile, Gangrel recently appeared in AEW alongside The Hardys and the Young Bucks in the lead up to Double or Nothing.
Following Edge’s beatdown on Raw, it was has been reported that the star is now listed as a babyface within WWE.
