Booker T has revealed the four candidates he would put forward for a WWE version of Mount Rushmore.
Booker T was quick to eliminate himself from the equation when discussing who could be honoured in a WWE adaptation of Mount Rushmore.
During a recent Q&A session on his Hall of Fame podcast, Booker T was asked by a viewer which WWE Superstars he would pick to be carved in sculpture. Whilst the five-time WCW Champion said he wasn’t “one of these Rushmore-like type guys,” he did go on to name his four picks as being multi-time World Champions:
“I’m not one of these Rushmore-like type guys, but as far as WWE Mount Rushmore, it would definitely be Stone Cold Steve Austin, The Rock, John Cena and, probably, Triple H.”
When pressed by his co-host, ‘The BOAT’ Brad Gilmore, the two-time WWE Hall of Famer did agree that The Undertaker should be included. He continued, explaining the reasoning for his choices:
“Those guys, man, they did some extraordinary stuff. I got a chance to watch it from afar when I was at WCW, and I watched those guys create their magic. And I was in awe of what they were doing, and I wanted to be a part of it so bad. But I was happy at WCW making my money and not having to work in the cold cities. But I tell you, those guys, I’m serious, man, they did some amazing stuff back then and I had a hell of a time watching it.”
Booker T also recently discussed who he would come out of retirement to face at WrestleMania, citing fellow WWE Hall of Famer Edge as the opponent he would like to do battle with once again.
