Booker T Names Only Regret From His Career

Booker T

WWE Hall of Famer Booker T has revealed the one regret he has from his legendary career.

With over two decades in the ring under his belt, Booker T has achieved more than most professional wrestlers can dream of. He held every major championship in both WWE and WCW, including six reigns as a World Champion, as well as holding titles in other promotions across the US.

However, speaking on his Hall of Fame podcast, Booker T has revealed that one thing he regrets is never holding the IWGP World Tag Team Championships in NJPW alongside his brother and tag team partner in Harlem Heat, Stevie Ray.

“I can’t speak for my brother but I can speak for myself, that may be the only regret in my career that my brother and I did not win the IWGP World Tag Team Championships. That right there for me would’ve been icing on the cake really for the career. I know those guys, I know what wrestling means to those guys in Japan. It’s huge, it’s their bloodline, and to be a part of something like that [would’ve been great].”

The IWGP Tag Team Championships have been held by many legendary tag teams since their creation in 1985, this includes the Steiner Brothers, Keiji Mutoh & Masahiro Chono, The Young Bucks, and The Dudley Boyz.

The veteran joke that he’s a little hot about the Dudley Boyz having achieved something he was never able to.

“I think The Dudleyz were the IWGP Tag Team Champions and I’m a little hot about that.”
