Booker T Doesn’t “Give A Damn” About This WWE Champion, Wants Title Change At WrestleMania 41

WWE Hall of Famer Booker T speaking on the mic

Booker T wants to see a major title change take place at WrestleMania 41.

After shockingly winning the 2025 Royal Rumble, Jey Uso is set to face Gunther for the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 41 in Las Vegas, NV.

Speaking on the latest edition of his Hall of Fame podcast, WWE Hall of Famer Booker T made it clear that he wants to see Uso triumph on the Grandest Stage of Them All. Booker pointed to a confrontation with the World Champion on WWE LFG, where Gunther criticized Booker’s rookie Jasper Troy.

“I don’t give a damn about GUNTHER okay. I’ma just put that out there right now. I’m going to just say it. I hope Jey Uso go out there and just beat the brakes off that boy. I wish Jey go out there and get it done. Hope this is the beginning of the Yeet championship era, this could be it and it all could happen at WrestleMania 41 in Las Vegas. It ain’t gonna get no bigger than that.

I mean, you’re not gonna get any more motivation than something like that and ever since my little run in I had with GUNTHER on LFG, I have no love for this man.” (h/t WrestlingInc)

Booker T Wasn’t The Only WWE LFG Coach To Have Issues With Gunther

Gunther’s appearance on WWE LFG also saw him critical of The Undertaker and his training methods. Speaking about the experience on the Raw Recap, the World Champion had this to say:

“Well, there’s no adrenaline rush with that [WWE LFG]. I’ve been teaching and coaching people in professional wrestling since I don’t know how long. It must be more than 10 years now. I know my experience in that and I know what I’m looking for in people and I think in that regard, I have more experience than Taker has himself. I don’t think he coached or trained a lot of people and it was my job that day to point out things I see, and that’s what I did.”
