Former five time WCW World Heavyweight Champion Booker T has singled out Cesaro’s recent in-ring performances as ‘star making.’
‘The Swiss Superman’ has been the apple of fans’ eyes for several years thanks to his unmatched talent between the ropes, putting on match of the year candidates on Raw, SmackDown, NXT and even NXT UK in both singles and tag team action.
Thus far in 2021, Cesaro’s branched out on his own in a bid for a main event spot by challenging Roman Reigns in promos and cutting an impassioned verbiage on Talking Smack where he vowed to become WWE Universal Champion before he decided to hang up his boots.
Now, Booker T has sat down on his Hall of Fame podcast to speak on the subject of the Swiss native and how his performances inside the ring have been pure star making vehicles:
“Cesaro did have a star-making night [at Elimination Chamber] even not coming out on top. Cesaro is one of those guys that’s going to be around for a long time. He’s one of those guys that you want on your team even after his in-ring time oh, he’s going to be somebody that you still want on the team from the perspective of making sure the young guys right the ship.”
Cesaro has not been seen on Friday Night SmackDown since his exhilarating performance inside the Elimination Chamber on February 21 where he lasted close to thirty minutes after beginning the match alongside eventual winner Daniel Bryan.
