Booker T Says He Wouldn’t Be Surprised To See Bray Wyatt Return To WWE

WWE Hall Of Famer Booker T has explained why he wouldn’t be surprised if 3-time world champion Bray Wyatt made a shock return to WWE.

Bray Wyatt’s WWE release came as a shock when it was confirmed on 31 July 2021, thus ending his 12-year association with the promotion. At the time of his release, the former WWE Champion had been absent from television following the conclusion of his rivalry with Randy Orton at WrestleMania 37.

Wyatt was trending on social media following the WrestleMania Backlash show where Pat McAfee commented on a child dressed as Wyatt’s alter ego, The Fiend.

Now speaking on his Hall of Fame podcast Booker T has commented on a potential return to WWE for Bray Wyatt and thinks McAfee’s offhand remark could be something more:

“Pat McAfee actually mentioned Bray Wyatt on the show last night [WrestleMania Backlash], I don’t know if that’s a precursor, I don’t know if that’s a signal, a spoiler, or teaser. But, normally, there’s a method to all the madness.”

“Like I said, Pat McAfee mentioned Bray Wyatt on the show last night, so we don’t know what’s about to happen. And I’m going to tell you right now, I would not be surprised one bit if Bray Wyatt was to show up in the WWE.”
