Booker T sees a very bright future for two stars of the WWE NXT roster and thinks it is soon time for them to show the wider wrestling world what they can do.
With NXT serving as the company’s developmental system, it is assumed that most of the roster will get called up to Raw or SmackDown at some point. While others need more time to sharpen their skills and be able to perform on a weekly live broadcast, numerous stars on the brand could be called up today and would have little trouble adapting to the main roster.
Discussing two stars who are ready for their call-up on the Hall of Fame podcast, Booker T highlighted Fatal Influence’s Jacy Jayne and Fallon Henley as performers who would not struggle if their opportunity came:
“I think with those guys [in Fatal Influence] it’s like a ‘you watch my back, I watch yours’ mentality. We’re all trying to get to the same place, and that’s to the main roster. I look at Jacy Jayne, she’s been in NXT for a minute. She’s one of those types that she can go to the main roster right now, but she’s so good she could still help so many of those girls coming up before she actually makes the crossover.
I look at Fallon Henley and I look at her the same way. She’s so good. Can she go to the main roster? She can go right now, but she’s such an asset to NXT. When it’s time to move her, I’m hoping that she’s going to get her shine.”
Booker T Predicts Major WWE Change Coming Soon
While also serving as an announcer on NXT, the former World Champion also keeps track of what is going on week to week on the main roster and the wider world of wrestling. When discussing one WWE match in particular, Booker T believed that it would lead to a major change being implemented.
