Booker T has given his thoughts on a WWE star who has recently seen a surge in popularity.
Despite not being used in the build-up to WrestleMania, Karrion Kross got fans talking shortly before and after the event. On top of his match against AJ Styles on the go-home Raw, the former NXT Champion also went viral for his work/shoot promo after the event, which saw Kross blast the company for leaving him off the card while Logan Paul received a marquee match.
With fans hoping to see more of Kross in the coming weeks, the NXT announcer agreed with the sentiment on his Hall of Fame podcast, noting that Kross, 39, only has a limited amount of time left in the ring:
“Clock is ticking on this dude. He ain’t getting any younger or anything like that. The thing about Karrion Kross, I don’t know if he’s going to get a shot or not to go out there and show exactly what he has.”
Continuing, the Hall of Famer added that while he wants to see Kross get a shot, the former NXT Champion will likely have just the one chance:
“I want to see Karrion Kross get a shot, a real shot, but I’m going to tell you this, Karrion Kross is going to have only one shot to actually go out there and really prove what he can bring to the table inside the middle of that square circle. So Karrion, when you get the shot, you better go out there and deliver because guess what, I’m going to be watching.”
