Bobby Lashley Returns To Monday Night Raw, Confronts Omos

Bobby Lashley Omos WrestleMania Point

A returning Bobby Lashley confronted Omos on Raw, and it seems their WrestleMania match is set!

Bobby Lashley has been out of action since Elimination Chamber on February 15th. At the event, he was scheduled to defend his WWE Championship inside the eponymous structure.

However, before he could enter the match, Seth Rollin sent Austin Theory crashing through Lashley’s pod and on top of the champion. ‘The All Mighty’ was then taken out of the chamber and to the back. Commentary later revealed he would not be returning as he was undergoing ‘concussion protocol’.

It was later revealed that Lashley had actually been working through a shoulder injury and the spot was a way of writing him off TV as it was thought he would require surgery. At the time, it was reported that surgery would lead to him missing up to four months of action.

However, on the March 28th episode of Raw, Bobby Lashley made his grand return to the red brand after Omos defeated the Viking Raiders by countout. The giant has been running through opponents with ease in recent weeks, most recently demolishing Commander Azeez and Apollo Crews on the March 21st episode of Monday Night Raw.

As Omos was celebrating another decisive win over the former Raw Tag Team Champions, Lashley’s music hit and he made his way to the ring to confront the giant. He managed to accomplish something many haven’t when he knocked the former Raw Tag Team Champion off his feet.

After the two brawled, there was vigorous sign pointing from both men, indicating that Lashley had issued a WrestleMania 38 challenge and that the challenge was accepted. This confirms a report from earlier this month that indicated the two were scheduled to face off if Bobby Lashley could be cleared for competition before the event.
