Bobby Lashley wants to fight Jake Paul in a boxing match.
Former WWE star and current AEW World Tag Team Champion Bobby Lashley is arguably one of the most well-known names in the combat sports industry. Apart from his vast experience in pro-wrestling, Lashley is also a seasoned MMA veteran. While his last fight was in October 2016, against Josh Appelt at a Bellator event, The All Mighty has remained open about making a comeback there.
Recently, while speaking with WFAA Dallas, Lashley discussed the chances of facing YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul in a boxing match. Open for a sparring session against him, Lashley also joked about receiving a “script” ahead of their fight:
Yeah, he can give me the script and we can go ahead and do whatever we need to [laughs]. At the end of the day, fighting is fighting. Jake is doing some big things in the fight world, he’s helping out boxing tremendously because he’s bringing a lot of eyes to it and the fighters that are fighting on his card get paid really well. I don’t know if I’m the right matchup for him, I think what he needs is some more seasoned boxers to fight because he’s good, he’s actually good.
So, if he’s good, he needs to keep fighting boxers that can legitimize him more. If I had an opportunity of boxing, 100%, I’d do it tomorrow. I stay in good shape, let’s do some sparring, I’d be ready. I’m not one of those guys that’s like, I’m signing the contract because I wanna spit in your face and talk trash. I’m not that guy. I’m the kind of guy, I love competition and I’d love to be able to fight him and see what he’s all about and see how good he is.”

Paul’s last match was against Julio César Chávez Jr. on June 28, 2025.
WWE Legend Addressed Allegations Involving Bobby Lashley And Triple H
Last month, while speaking on his Story Time with Dutch Mantell podcast, the WWE legend offered his thoughts on the allegations about Bobby Lashley not receiving a push in the promotion due to his race. Discussing the controversial situation, Mantell said:
And Bobby Lashley, I don’t think he’s been discriminated against because of his race. I don’t think. I have no idea. But anyway, that’s so he can talk, and he is what he is. SO I don’t put a lot of credence into what he says and don’t give a s**t.”
