Bobby Lashley Makes Huge Promise Following AEW PPV Debut

Bobby Lashley in suit on AEW Dynamite

Bobby Lashley has laid out The Hurt Syndicate’s plans for All Elite Wrestling.

Lashley debuted for the company on a special Fright Night edition of Dynamite, reuniting with MVP and Shelton Benjamin to form The Hurt Syndicate – a new iteration of WWE’s Hurt Business. Previously, MVP had attempted to recruit Swerve Strickland, but the former World Champion turned down the opportunity. That decision set him on a collision course with Lashley at Full Gear.

Strickland gave his all during the bout, even smashing Lashley through the announce table with a Swerve Stomp. It wasn’t enough to keep The Almighty down, as Lashley recovered and hit Swerve with a massive Spear through the barricade. When the action returned to the ring, Lashley caught Strickland in The Hurt Lock, forcing him to pass out for the victory.

Bobby Lashley Claims The Hurt Syndicate Will Take Over AEW

At the post-show media scrum, Lashley reflected on his first ppv match in All Elite Wrestling, calling it “fantastic.” He went on to say it was time for The Hurt Syndicate to start taking over the company, starting with winning gold.

“I think it was fantastic. The crowd here was amazing and I like the chant ‘We Hurt People.’ It’s good business. This group has been long overdue to start taking over and now that we’ve gotten to AEW it is time to take over. We need to start holding these titles hostage.”

Those plans might include a bigger version of the faction, as Bobby Lashley has teased more members for The Hurt Syndicate,

In a new interview, Bobby Lashley recalled his memories of the Battle of the Billionaires match.
