Blake Monroe reunited with an AEW star months after becoming a WWE Superstar.
After spending two years in AEW from 2023 to 2025 as Mariah May, Blake Monroe made her long-awaited WWE debut on NXT’s June 3 episode. Since joining the brand, she hasn’t completely forgotten her All Elite roots that portrayed her flirtatious, confident, and ambitious character.
At Evolution 2025, The Glamour betrayed partner Jordynne Grace during the latter’s NXT Women’s Championship match against Jacy Jayne, much like what she did against Toni Storm in All Elite Wrestling. As it turns out, it wasn’t just the character that the former AEW Women’s World Champion decided not to drop from her time there, but the people as well.
In a recent Instagram post, NXT star Blake Monroe broke the proverbial door and shared photos hanging out with current AEW stars Mina Shirakawa and Harley Cameron. Shirakawa has a long history with Monroe, both as a rival and tag team partners since 2023 from Stardom up until AEW.
The same can be said for Blake Monroe and Harley Cameron. Both women shared the ring for the first time in 2024 in CCW, and up until 2025 during their time in AEW. Despite being enemies for most of their careers, it’s good to see them on good terms behind the scenes.

Blake Monroe Names WWE Hall Of Famer As Her Dream Opponent
Many fans began thinking about dream match-ups and clashes since the former Mariah May joined the Stamford-based promotion. For the former AEW star, her dream opponent luckily just came out of retirement.
While talking with Deadlinein July, Blake Monroe was asked if she would love to get in the ring with any wrestler, to which she answered Nikki Bella. The Glamour explained that the Hall of Famer was her mother’s favorite, and the NXT star wants to be her own mom’s favorite wrestler.
I have a ton, since I grew up watching WWE. The person I would pick has just come back, Nikki Bella. She’s my mum’s favorite wrestler, and that hits personal to me. So, I feel like I need to take her out. [Laughs] I need to be my mum’s favorite wrestler! She’s part of the Bella Army. I’ve lost her. But maybe if I beat her, my mum will come around.”
