The events of AEW All Out rocked the landscape of All Elite Wrestling, to say the least. Numerous parties involved, including CM Punk, The Elite, and various backstage employees were left suspended as a direct result of the incident. Now, it looks like the latest comeback is about to occur.

Per PWInsider’s Mike Johnson, there are rumblings going on that The Elite – the trio comprised of Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks – are due to return on tonight’s (November 9) broadcast of AEW Dynamite. This would mark their first appearance of any kind since All Out, which saw the trio crowned the AEW World Trios Champions.

Matt Hardy Believes The Elite Were The Victims At AEW All Out

It was reported by Fightful Select two weeks ago at the time of writing that The Elite were reportedly due to return to AEW “imminently”. They’ve allegedly been backstage for the past two Dynamite broadcasts.

Matt Hardy, a former on-screen ally of The Elite’s in his early AEW career, discussed the All Out situation during a recent Extreme Life of Matt Hardy podcast. During this, he stated that he believes The Elite were the victims in the entire situation, standing against CM Punk:

“It’s going to be very interesting to see The Elite back, The Young Bucks and Kenny Omega. I’m very happy they are back. I will say this right here and right now, those guys didn’t do anything wrong in this situation. If anything, they were the victims.

I’m telling you that from a first-person perspective. I was there, I witnessed it all. I love all three of those guys. I’ve known Matt and Nick [Jackson] forever. I’ve just gotten to know Kenny while working with AEW. I’m very happy they are returning to TV and they are back in the mix. They deserve to be in the mix.”

Dave Meltzer reported in a recent Wrestling Observer Newsletter that the working plan is for The Elite to challenge Death Triangle for the AEW World Trios Championships at Full Gear.

H/T to Fightful.
