Big Rematch Added To AEW Double Or Nothing

AEW Double or Nothing

AEW Double or Nothing will see the next chapter in a bitter rivalry.

On the April 3rd edition of Dynamite, Trent Beretta shocked AEW fans when he turned on Orange Cassidy, laying him out with a brutal knee strike. Weeks later, Beretta brought Chuck Taylor’s career to an end in a Parking Lot Brawl, leading to Orange Cassidy challenging him for the May 8th Dynamite.

The bout saw the former Best Friends go all out and fight around the arena. Eventually, Cassidy exposed a turnbuckle and rammed Beretta into it before rolling him up for the pin. Things didn’t end there, however, as Beretta went back on the attack after the match and dropped Cassidy with a Piledriver on top of the ring steps before sending him flying into the steel frame under the ring.

On the May 18th edition of Collision, Trent appeared in the crowd to watch Orange defeat Isiah Kassidy. After the match ended, Beretta was interviewed and claimed he was a better pro wrestler than Cassidy, before saying the only reason Cassidy beat him was because he was a sociopath who thinks the rules don’t apply to him.

Trent then challenged Cassidy to a “straight-up wrestling match” at Double or Nothing. Before he could finish his thought, though, Cassidy launched an assault on him before being pulled away by security.
