Big Bill shared his true feelings on one former AEW Champion.
Speaking in a recent interview with Rasslin’, Big Bill opened up about his opinion on former AEW World Champion Jon Moxley. The two men are very familiar with one another, not only having worked together in WWE for the better part of a decade, but also living together as roommates beginning in their developmental days. According to Bill, Moxley is very honest and not afraid to give criticism when it’s warranted.
“Moxley is the most brutally honest guy. He’s an interesting guy … He’s very honest, especially with me. I’ve asked him for advice before and he has said ‘Don’t ever f***ing do that again; that sucked.’ He’s just a straight shooter, so he’s helped me tremendously.” (h/t WrestlingInc)
Big Bill Opened Up About Former Partner Enzo Amore
Elsewhere in the interview, Big Bill spoke about still being close friends with his ex-WWE partner Enzo Amore, who now goes by the name Real1. Bill praised his former partner’s creativity and talent, saying he’s one of a kind.
“Still good friends with Enzo, he’s the f—ing man. People ask me about Enzo all the time and I tell them he might be the only person I know that’s a one-of-one. They ask, ‘what do you mean?’ There is no one else on the planet like him, he is a one-of-one. You cannot replicate him. He’s an incredibly talented guy.”
Though Amore has competed in a number of promotions since being fired from WWE in 2018, he’s not been able to reach a large television audience since that time. Continuing, Bill expressed hope that his friend can get another chance to shine on a larger stage.
“I love Enzo. I really hope he gets another shot in pro wrestling. I feel he’s too talented to not. He’s so clever, unique, wrote most of his own promos. He’s just a funny guy. He’s very clever, he’s very unique. One of one.” (h/t F4WOnline)
Amore expressed in an August interview that he’d like to receive some acknowledgement from WWE for his contributions to the company.
