Bianca Belair has revealed that she likes the thought of having “gold on both shoulders.”
At WrestleMania 38 Roman Reigns defeated Brock Lesnar to win the WWE Championship, which meant that he became the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion.
The win marked the first time that WWE had only one World Champion since 2016.
On the May 20th episode of SmackDown, Reigns’ partners in The Bloodline, The Usos defeated RK-Bro to unify the tag team division. The Usos were most recently in action at Money In The Bank where they saw off the challenge of The Street Profits.
This means that it’s now only the women’s division which has retained two separate championships. At present, Bianca Belair is the Raw Women’s Champion, while Liv Morgan holds the SmackDown crown after her win at Money In The Bank.
However, speaking in a new interview, Belair has now revealed that she would be open to unifying the women’s division. In conversation with Wrestling Inc’s Nick Hausman, Belair said that she would like to win the SmackDown Title down the line, after all, gold is her favourite colour.
“I have a lot on my resume right now in a very short amount of time,” Belair said. “That’s another thing I can add to the resume. I would like to have two golds on both shoulders. I mean, gold is my favourite colour.”
Bianca Belair has held the Raw Women’s Championship since defeating Becky Lynch at WrestleMania 38. The victory capped off quite the redemption story for the EST of WWE, after she lost her SmackDown Women’s Title to Lynch at SummerSlam in 2021.
Since moving to WWE’s main roster, Belair has established herself as one of the biggest stars in the company, headlining WrestleMania 37, and winning the 2021 Royal Rumble as well as her two championship reigns.
