A Bianca Belair stands tall on Monday Night Raw, the star has set her sights on somewhat unlikely goal.
Bianca Belair signed with WWE in April 2016 and quickly began featuring in NXT. The star remained with the brand for four years until moving to SmackDown as part of the 2020 WWE Draft, although she had made a fleeting appearance on Raw earlier in the year.
Once on the main roster, Belair instantly impressed and won the 2021 Women’s Royal Rumble before going on to win the SmackDown Women’s Title at WrestleMania 37.
Despite being a “homegrown” NXT star and currently one of the biggest stars in WWE, Belair never won the NXT Women’s Championship despite challenging for the gold. Although it appears that the star hasn’t given up on capturing the NXT Women’s Championship.
Speaking during an appearance on the In The Kilq podcast, Belair revealed that she would like to take on Mandy Rose for the NXT Women’s Title.
“I mean NXT, I’m a homegrown talent, so it exceeds where it all started. So it would really feel full circle to go back at some point in time. Right now, maybe not right now because I’m Raw Women’s Champion, but you know,” Bianca said. “I never got to win the NXT Women’s Title. So, I mean, I would love to go back and Mandy Rose is doing amazing things right now. I’ve never gotten to have a feud with Mandy on NXT Raw or Smackdown. So maybe Mandy Rose [is someone that I would like to work with].”
Mandy Rose has held the NXT Women’s Championship since Halloween Havoc 2021 when she defeated Raquel Gonzalez (Rodriguez). Her reign currently stands at over 220 days with her most recent defence coming when she unified the NXT and NXT UK Women’s Titles at Worlds Collide.
