Bianca Belair might not be a WWE Superstar if it were not for a WWE Hall of Famer and an AEW Veteran.
Putting together strength, in-ring ability and charisma, The EST will definitely be an inspiration to a future Women’s Champion. But which two wrestlers captivated the former Women’s Champion the most?
While appearing on Baby, This Is Keke Palmer, Belair was asked to name who her favourite wrestlers were when watching wrestling as a child. The EST named a former Women’s Champion also known for her strength and one of the most unique stars in wrestling history:
“My favorite-est growing up was Chyna. She was dominating. Dominating the men, just dominating. Big and beautiful. When I was growing up, she was the first woman that captured my eye. For men, it was Goldust. It was something about him. When he came on TV, I just paid attention. He was captivating. I couldn’t stop watching him. That always stuck with me,”
One of the pioneers of women’s wrestling, Chyna was the first woman to compete in the Men’s Royal Rumble and had multiple reigns with the Intercontinental Championship. Chyna was posthumously inducted into the Hall of Fame as part of D-Generation X in 2019 after sadly passing away in 2016.
Dustin Rhodes would debut the Goldust character in 1995. At the 1996 Royal Rumble, Goldust would debut his valet Marlena, who would go on to be Chyna’s first victim when the 9th Wonder of the World made her debut. Goldust also won the Intercontinental Championship on multiple occasions and would capture the Tag Titles on 3 separate occasions, twice with Cody Rhodes and once with Booker T. Still competing today, Dustin Rhodes is signed to AEW.
When Is Bianca Belair Returning To WWE?
Not seen on TV since August, many are highly anticipating the return of the former Women’s Champion in the near future. According to the latest report, Bianca Belair’s WWE return will be happening sooner rather than later. Keeping a close eye on what is happening on Raw, Bianca Belair has also revealed why she is jealous of Rhea Ripley.
