Bianca Belair returned to Monday Night Raw on January 16th after recovering from the attack she suffered at the hands of Alexa Bliss.
On that occasion Bliss snapped and seemed to return to the dark side, laying out officials and cutting Belair’s head on the steel steps. With Belair out of action, Bliss has continued her descent into madness, seemingly coming under the spell of Uncle Howdy.
Bianca Belair Vs. Alexa Bliss Set For The Royal Rumble
Back in the red brand Bianca Belair was in feisty mood. The Raw Women’s Champion said that although she’d only missed two weeks she missed being in front of the crowd. However, she knew that her job comes with risks, including having her face “smashed” by Bliss. But she will takes those risks over and over again as they mean she can be Raw Women’s Champion.
Belair stated that although she wasn’t on the show, she heard what Bliss said the previous week and challenged her to come out and say it to her face.
Alexa Bliss wasted little time in getting involved, and it appeared as though she was about to challenge Belair to a match at the Royal Rumble, but she was cut off by the champion. Belair said there was no need for Bliss to enter the Royal Rumble Match when she could face her instead.
Not that either woman was in the mood to wait until the Royal Rumble. The pair brawled into the crowd and Belair was about to hit a KOD onto two chairs before Uncle Howdy appeared. With the champion distracted, Bliss hit a DDT to stand tall.
It had already been announced that Roman Reigns will defend his Undisputed WWE Universal Title against Kevin Owens, while Bray Wyatt takes on LA Knight in the first-ever Pitch Black Match.
