With Survivor Series WarGames just around the corner, Raw Women’s Champion Bianca Belair is heading to Friday Night SmackDown.
At the event Belair is set to team with Asuka, Alexa Bliss, Mia Yim and a mystery partner to take on Damage CTRL, Nikki Cross and Rhea Ripley inside WarGames. However, the fifth member of ‘Team Belair’ won’t be a mystery for much longer.
Bianca Belair To Appear On SmackDown
WWE have announced that Bianca Belair will be appearing on SmackDown to reveal the fifth member of her team. Speculation has been running wild about the mystery participant with everyone from Sasha Banks, Aliyah, Chelsea Green, Charlotte Flair and more mentioned in relation to the spot. However, the strongest rumours continue to surround former Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch.
The Irish star hasn’t been seen on WWE television since being attacked by Damage CTRL on the August 1st edition of Monday Night Raw. The beatdown served as a storyline way to write the star off television after she suffered a shoulder injury just two days before at SummerSlam.
At the summer spectacular Lynch was defeated by Bianca Belair as she attempted to reclaim the Raw Women’s Title. After the final bell, Lynch and Belair met in a show of respect before being confronted by a returning Bayley, Dakota Kai and IYO SKY.
A recent report claimed that Becky Lynch is very much in contention to appear at Survivor Series, joining forces with her former rival.
In the other WarGames match on the card, The Bloodline – Roman Reigns, Sami Zayn, The Usos and Solo Sikoa, will do battle with Sheamus, Drew McIntyre, Kevin Owens, Butch and Ridge Holland. Meanwhile, Ronda Rousey will defend her SmackDown Women’s Title against Shotzi, and Seth Rollins will defend his United States Championship against Austin Theory and Bobby Lashley.
In the only other confirmed match to date AJ Styles will take on Finn Balor as the rivalry between The OC and Judgment Day continues.
