Bianca Belair Calls On WWE To Host 2nd Evolution Premium Live Event

Bianca Belair

As Bianca Belair is preparing to defend her Raw Women’s Championship against Asuka at WrestleMania 39 she believes that WWE should definitely do another all-women’s show, Evolution.

In 2018, the company presented their first-ever all-female-focused event Evolution. The show featured all of the promotion’s top female stars such as Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair, Ronda Rousey and Nikki Bella.

The event was a huge success, but despite its popularity, the company are yet to run a second show of this kind.

Speaking to ahead of her title match, Belair spoke about the potential of the company hosting another Evolution Premier Live Event.

“I think if there is any time to do it, it’s now. I mean, we have so many amazing, talented women, and that’s why it’s great that WrestleMania is two nights because we get to showcase all those women. When I first got into NXT, I was the only girl at the time hitting a 450. Now you watch NXT and it’s like, all the girls can do a 450. It’s amazing. I mean, the athleticism and the talent that’s been brought into WWE has made everybody else step their game up. So I think we could definitely do another Evolution.”

Bianca Belair Declares She Is Ready For Asuka At WrestleMania 39

At Elimination Chamber in February, Asuka defeated Carmella, Liv Morgan, Natalya, Nikki Cross and Raquel Rodriguez to become the number one contender for Belair’s title.

Since booking her ticket to Hollywood, Asuka has both teamed with and misted the EST of WWE adding some spice to their budding rivalry.

During the same interview, the Raw Women’s Champion revealed she was confident heading into the match against her toughest challenger in months, the Empress of Tomorrow.

“I’m definitely ready for Asuka. I stay ready, so I don’t have to get ready. Asuka caught my attention, she’s kept my attention, and I know I’m going to have to be on my toes facing Asuka. She’s hard hitting. She’s fast. She’s athletic. She’s one of the greatest female wrestlers in the world. If I take down Asuka at WrestleMania, it’s just gonna put me at the mountaintop, but it’s gonna take everything I have.”
