During the first night of the 2020 WWE Draft on Friday Night SmackDown, Bianca Belair found herself drafted to the blue brand away from husband, Montez Ford.
Now, with Ford and Street Profit partner Angelo Dawkins set to be drafted tomorrow on Monday Night Raw, the happy couple could find themselves separated if the WWE Raw Tag Team Champions stay on the red side of the brand divide.
According to ‘The E-S-T’, who appeared on Talking Smack following the first night of the draft, the couple have sat down to discuss the possibility and the strains it would put on their relationship:
“Yeah, of course we’ve discussed it. You know, my husband, he’s a Tag Team Champion on Monday Night Raw, and we love to spend time together and work together. But at the same time, you know, I’m his biggest cheerleader. He’s my biggest cheerleader, but tonight, it’s about me. I got drafted to SmackDown and I’m ready to get going. So it’s going to work out regardless.”
However, WWE Intercontinental Champion Sami Zayn wouldn’t let the issue go and mentioned to the star that it seemed as if she was ready to carve her own path in the industry rather than follow in the shadow of her husband.
Bianca Belair had this to say:
“I mean, yeah, of course. Like, if he stays on Raw, that does give me a chance to stand on my own and show who I am. But at the same time, if he’s on SmackDown, I feel like… it works either way. It works either way.”
However, with WWE SmackDown Tag Team Champions The New Day recently drafted to Monday’s, the retention of WWE Raw Tag Team Champions The Street Profits would see the blue brand without a set of doubles titles.
Wherever The Street Profits land on night two of the 2020 WWE Draft, Bianca Belair will make the most of her new opportunity amid rumours that both her and Peyton Royce are in line for a massive push.
Inside the Ropes will have all the live coverage of the second and final night of the 2020 WWE Draft – h/t to Fightful for the Talking Smack transcription.
