Bianca Belair And Kevin Owens Qualify For Survivor Series Teams

On WWE Friday Night SmackDown, both Bianca Belair and Kevin Owens qualified for the women’s and men’s Team SmackDown Survivor Series stable.

The first to qualify for the women, Bianca Belair stood tall against a defiant Natalya and Billie Kay in a Triple Threat Match after the duo had mocked the former NXT star for her nickname.

‘The EST’ made relatively short work of both women and despite Kay attempting to steal pinfalls at every given opportunity and the talent enduring a Sharpshooter/chin lock combo, the rising star managed to kick out of a rope assisted pin and nailed her KOD for the victory.

This result comes after much talk that Bianca Belair is in line for a major push on WWE’s main roster and will likely ascend to the top of the division to battle the likes of Sasha Banks and Bayley by SummerSlam 2021.

As for the men, with Raw having already decided three of their team members in Keith Lee, AJ Styles and Sheamus, it was the turn of Kevin Owens and Dolph Ziggler to decide who would be the first to fill one of the five slots on Team SmackDown.

Predictably, Ziggler gained an advantage from Robert Roode who lurked on the outside before being ejected and focused the majority of his offence on Owens’ neck. Following near falls and back and forth action galore, which included a Pop-Up Powerbomb into a Famouser, it was Owens who gained the upper hand.

Countering several superkicks from the former WWE World Heavyweight Champion, the host of The Kevin Owens Show pulled out his Stunner for the victory.

Now we can all salivate at the thought of Kevin Owens vs. Keith Lee on November 22.
