Alexa Bliss Bloodies Bianca Belair As Bray Wyatt Teases Continue [Video]

After winning a number one contender’s match against Bayley three weeks ago, Alexa Bliss earned the chance to face Bianca Belair and once again become WWE Raw Women’s Champion.

Bliss and Belair have been allies in recent months, facing the three members of Damage CTRL at WWE Clash at the Castle and later making up part of the winning team inside WarGames at WWE Survivor Series. However, recent weeks have seen Alexa Bliss tease a turn to the dark side as Bray Wyatt‘s moth logo has appeared behind her on numerous occasions and she nearly delivered Sister Abigail to Belair after winning her number one contender’s match.

Teases of Bliss’ change in demeanor continued two weeks ago when she attacked the Raw Women’s Champion with a vase following an interview with Byron Saxton.

Alexa Bliss Snaps On WWE Raw

The Raw Women’s Championship bout on the January 2nd episode of WWE Raw was fraught with controversy as teases of Bliss returning to her alliance with Wyatt continued. During the match, a masked figure appeared in the crowd, and the challenger seemed spooked by his appearance.

Soon after, Wyatt’s moth logo flashed on the titan tron, and Bliss snapped completely, launching an attack on the referee and causing the match to end in a disqualification. However, Little Miss Bliss wasn’t content to just attack the referee, and also delivered a brutal beating to the Raw Women’s Champion, bloodying her face as she launched her into the ring post as well as the steel steps. Even as Bianca Belair‘s face was bleeding, Bliss continued the attack, delivering a DDT to the ring steps before exiting the arena.

While a stretcher was brought out for the champion, Belair insisted on exiting the arena under her own power. During a commercial break, her husband Montez Ford came out to help her to the back ahead of his tag team match later in the evening.
