WWE Hall Of Famer Beth Phoenix has revealed that she once pitched an idea that she be cast as the sister of The Beast Incarnate, Brock Lesnar.
Beth Phoenix began her full-time career in WWE in 2006 after spending a couple of years in the developmental territory of Ohio Vally Wrestling. Phoenix captured the WWE Divas Title once and the WWE Women’s Championship three times in a career that saw her inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame in 2017.
Now a commentator on NXT, and sometimes wedding officiant, Beth Phoenix has revealed her career could have gone in a different direction had WWE listened to one of her early pitches for her character.
Taking to social media, Beth Phoenix explained that she made the extraordinary pitch to long-time WWE producer and fellow WWE Hall Of Famer, Michael Hayes:
“Fun Fact: At one of my first gigs as a @WWEextra I pitched a detailed storyline to Michael Hayes to be brought in as Brock Lesnar’s sister. I had ZERO CHILL.”

Beth Phoenix was still WWE Divas Champion when Brock Lesnar made his return to WWE in April 2012, on the night after WrestleMania 28.
Lesnar is currently undergoing a storyline suspension following his out of control actions after he lost to WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns at Crown Jewel.
